Everlasting Field Notes: Hibernal Botanical Play with Ingénue

Join us for an artful meditation towards floral arranging that celebrates our hibernal landscape while exploring sustainable design mechanics with @studioingenue.

This workshop invites us to take note of the beauty that persists throughout the seasonal shift into winter, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the details of our surroundings and a renewed perspective on the natural elements to which we ascribe value. Attention is the beginning of devotion (Mary Oliver) and one will find that this season is as abundant as any, once you really look. 

In this hands-on session, participants will explore everlasting floral materials while learning practical skills for preparing and preserving dried blooms, seed heads, and foliage, as well as best practices for foraging materials.

All tools and materials will be provided. This includes a variety of dried flowers, sustainably foraged and seasonal bits, and the design mechanics essential for arranging without single-use plastics or flower foam. Participants…
